We came. We saw. We blogged. We laughed. We cried. We nearly died. We ran around, we jumped in puddles, and it was worth it.
Blogging has always been one of our passions. When we heard about this competition, we thought it would have a fun time lazing around, taking pictures and occasionally logging on to facebook. If ONLY we knew. Our first impression of Synchronize was nothing short of overwhelming. The events, the judging, the overall atmosphere was electric and truly vibrant. In a word, well, it was Synchronized.
Day One of blogger completely tested our limits. The first few hours of the day were spent hyperactively running around the whole campus, taking pictures of anything and everything that moved. And some things that didn’t move. It took some time for US as a team to get synchronized, and by the end of the day , we were quite frankly pooped. By the time we got home, all we could do was mutter a string of colourful and choice expletives at the very thought of going back to blogging the next day!
But we did. And we’re glad. Day 2 was about pulling together loose ends. By now, we had a hang of how our blog worked, and how we worked as a team too. So today was easier and we managed to enjoy what we were supposed to do. The thoughts flowed smoother, the words came out easier and overall, happiness levels reached a new high! Rahul’s little twist of cutting short our time limit was EVIL and SADISTIC, but we’re somehow glad he did it. Turns out we worked a LOT better under pressure.
So that was Synchronize. We came here to put up a blog, but at the end of the day, we discovered a little bit more about ourselves. All we can say is thank you for everything.
